VP Technical Project Team Manager - Cash Management/Payments New opportunity available for a VP Technical Project Team Manager has become available to join our client’s EMEA Fulfilment group. Main responsibilities will include: · Management of an EMEA centralised group of client facing associates whose primary role is to deliver technical cash and treasury management solutions for our EMEA client base. · Responsible for driving consistency in technical implementation working with both the regional managers as well as with the global leads. · Responsible for setting goals for the team to meet the client, business partners and functional goals of the organisation. · Actively identifying and pursuing initiatives that drive client satisfaction that will make us best in class in the market by delivering a world class service at the optimal cost to the organisation.  · Provide an active contribution to and take the lead for EMEA Fulfilment in multiple projects that deliver new product and capabilities for the business, during a period of significant growth, to ensure that the group’s needs are well catered for. · Primary function is implementing EDI payments and reporting solutions for our clients. · This is a client facing role, project managing the delivery of Pan-European EDI (bulk file) solutions to key clients across the EMEA region  The successful candidate: · Must be able to demonstrate strong experience with client facing roles preferably within a similar implementation/client on-boarding function · Can drive large scale change (people, process and organisational) change across multiple functions · Proactive approach to identifying and managing risk  · Strong leadership in managing technical teams · Strong performance management and coaching abilities · Broad understanding of cash and treasury management products eBanking and eCommerce systems, Global File/Message Networks, the various components that facilitate Payment initiation and Information Reporting services. · Good working knowledge of the business (both International and US domestic). Our client is a UK AIM listed payments organisation currently experiencing a great deal of growth as a result of a sustained period of success. We have been engaged to help this organisation take their product set and brand to the APAC region with the hire of a VP Sales to be based out of Hong Kong, it is envisaged that this will be the regional ‘Hub’ from which to grow a regional presence.
They make international payments for businesses, corporate clients and banks on a pay-per-transaction basis. Their service offering includes a range of white label services, simplifying the process to result in lower costs and better service levels.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a professional with a significant track record of sales in the APAC region, ideally selling to banks and financial institutions at ‘C’ level to effectively establish and build the brand and product offering across the region.
A commercial mind-set and a strong understanding or exposure to the payments industry as well as an understanding of compliance would be beneficial. This person will very much need to be a self-starter.
