Payment/Card Payment Business Analyst needed

RDF have a  client who is building a Payments Team and therefore requires Business Analysts with an emphasis on Business knowledge around Retail Banking and Payments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*          Elicits and clearly defines client needs by assessing and

documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors

of potential business solutions. Conducts business assessment reviews

and walkthroughs for complex projects.

*          Provides problem definition, evaluation of requirements, and

implementation of solutions to meet business and user requirements.

*          Works directly with a client to solve problems or make decisions

requiring technical expertise or specialized knowledge.

*          Investigates client needs, regulations, and technology to

provide input into the design of a new system, system enhancements, or

acquired software or hardware.

*          Prepares and updates written material and explanations to

accompany systems, programs, and program changes.

*          May supervise overall activities of the consulting

engagements/projects or work independently on an engagement.

*          Provides vendor relations and client support, training and

testing within the area of expertise (e.g., client/server architecture,

payment solutions).

*          Manage projects or project sub-plans by developing, coordinating

and controlling the steps necessary to carry out a project within

established time frame, budget, quality and requirements.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

*          Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry,

including payments using ATM, POS and other device types, card products

(Visa, MC, AMEX, etc...), transaction switching, card management

systems, EMV/Chip Cards, back office banking systems

*          Extensive knowledge of methods, tools, and technology used to

carry out tasks necessary to prepare business assessment deliverables

*          Considerable knowledge of Client Focus/Value Management

*          Considerable knowledge of the basic principles, processes,

phases and roles of multiple applications development methodologies

*          Thorough knowledge of conversion methodologies and the basic

principles, processes, phases and roles relevant to each conversion

methodology

*          Knowledge of basic, fundamental accounting principles

*          Skill in project management preferred but not required

*          Skill in understanding and focusing on the clients' needs,

establishing credibility and building relationships with clients

*          Skill in analysis, solid decision-making and problem solving

skills

*          Ability provide the direction required to supervise overall

activities of the consulting engagement and to provide performance

updates to company and client management as needed

*          Ability to effectively lead and supervise

*          Ability to maintain professional appearance and project a

professional image

*          Ability to use effective listening skills to develop

understanding of user questions or problems

*          Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and

accomplish goals

*          Ability to establish and manage priorities effectively

Business Development Manager – Expense & Payment Solutions

The role: Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager – Expense Solutions will be responsible for developing new business relationships and opportunities for our Expense and Payment Solutions product portfolio. This individual should be a seasoned payment professional with proven success selling payments and expense solutions to mid- to large size organisations. A strong working knowledge of financial management, cash management and commercial card processes is highly desirable. The ability to build successful executive relationships with customers and prospects is a must. CorporatePay is seeking a dynamic candidate who can excel in this position through a balance of building on past experiences and continuing to innovate in response to the ever-changing market and industry conditions.

Required Skills:
• A strong track record of selling expense and payment solutions to senior executives within mid to large travel organisations such as the Head of Treasury, CFO or HR/Payroll Manager
• Demonstrated understanding of cash management practices, expense management processes, accounts payable practices and commercial card alternatives
• Demonstrated success at networking, setting appointments, pipeline building, negotiation, and closing sales to meet and exceed quota
• Demonstrated ability to conduct needs assessment and discovery through high-value questions, listening skills, and collaboration with clients and prospects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills complemented by confident presentation style

Preferred Skills:

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance preferred
• At least 5years of Business Development experience in the payments industry or the related financial services market.
• Bright, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial, with a positive can-do attitude and a real desire to operate at the centre of a new and high growth business.
• An ability to grasp new technologies, in addition to demonstrated interest in our business.

We are seeking a professional with a significant track record of sales in the APAC region, ideally selling to banks and financial institutions at ‘C’ level to effectively establish and build the brand and product offering across the region.

Murray Mcintosh's client is a market leading payment solution provider recruiting for an Implementation/Integration Project Manager (Services Manager) with strong cards and payments experience to deliver to enterprise clients bespoke technical payment applications and solutions via their platform. The successful candidate will have experience in, and a hands on understanding of the card and payments market, with strong capabilities across both hardware and software in this market, including a technical understanding of Web Services / API’s. You will have project managed numerous enterprise deployments across multiple business units, multiple and disparate business process, including experience of managing system integrations. Knowledge of client solution design and client solution implementation and deployment. You will have previous experience of providing professional services in the cards and payments sector to enterprise clients. Therefore, you should be experienced in acting as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to enterprise clients on the capabilities offered by the platform, assisting clients with the design of their solutions and to identify and select implementation and deployment options for their solution. In addition, you will prepare statements of work for complex or bespoke deployment, project managing the implementation and deployment, and provide accurate and timely progress reviews on the projects. You will review final deliverables to ensure that they meet client expectations, managing expectations and ensuring delivery of high quality of the entire project lifecycle to hand over. Previous experience of working and interacting directly with the internal teams including project management, development, compliance and financial as necessary to complete smooth and swift implementation of services. You will have previous demonstrated experience of developing and managing process across an organisation, in addition to assisting the sales team to develop and close new business relating to the delivery of client solutions. Strong stakeholder and relationship management experience, with strong communication (oral and written). This is an excellent deployment project management experience in an exciting and growing organisation.
