Head of Mobiel Product needed - London based - Excellent salary and benefits

Our client is a well-funded, cutting edge start up offering services to banks, financial institutions, payments processors and merchants. They are looking for a Head of Mobile Product to assist in growing the company across the UK, US and Europe. This is a key position which will be the force behind the product strategy and execution, combining feedback from sales, marketing, development, customers and prospects to set the strategic vision and lead the execution on new features and products.

Responsibilities will include:

• To gather and prioritise product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the development team in the US to continue to deliver a remarkable suite of products
• To create and manage the overall Product Management process for all products
• To lead internal processes to define the product strategy, vision, roadmap and priorities
• To develop requirements documents and use cases for new product features
• Monitoring the status of development projects supporting new features
• Conduct business-level verification and market testing of new features
• Become an expert on other products in the marketplace
• Be a go-to person and strategic leader within the company

Desired experience and expertise:
• Experience as a Head of Mobile Product or Product Manager for a software product (B2B or B2C) consumer Technology Company.
• Payments/Mobile Payments industry experience essential
• Experience with agile development processes and monthly or weekly product release cycles
• Passion for mobile & web-based software products
• "Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial, startup attitude
• Natural ability to relate to customers and prospects
• Ability to work with different people across a team effectively
• Bachelor's degree (MBA or other Master's preferred)
• Solid experience of leading product management
